These shots were made Upper Antelope Canyon the Navajo name for this canyon is Tsé bighánílíní, which means 'the place where water runs through rocks'. Rainwater flows, especially during the monsoon season, into the huge basin above the parts of the trench and absorbs speed and sand as it flows into the narrow passages. Over time, the passageways are eroded, making the corridors deeper and smoothing the hard edges so that they form characteristic "flowing" forms in the rocks.
